The Mesa and Gilbert Dojos are pleased to announce Obata sensei's return to Arizona for seminars in 2006! All ISF & AB members are invited to participate! This is an outstanding opportunity to be a part of some great training!

Thursday May 18th: Aikido: Instructors Only: 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m. Shinkendo: Instructors Only: 8 p.m.-9:30 p.m.

Friday May 19th: Aikido: 6:30-8 p.m. Shinkendo: 8-9:30 p.m.

Saturday May. 20th: Aikido: 8 a.m.-9:15 a.m. (10 min. break) Bo Staff: 9:25 a.m.-10:15 a.m. (10 min break)

Aikido: 10:25 a.m.-11:45 a.m.

Lunch: 11:45-12:45

Shinkendo: 12:45 p.m.-2 p.m (10 min. break) Bo Staff: 2:10 p.m.-3:30 p.m (10 min. break) Shinkendo: 3:40 p.m.-5 p.m.

Dinner: 6 p.m.

Sunday May. 21st: Aikido: 8 a.m.-9:15 a.m. (10 min. break) Bo Staff: 9:25 a.m.-10:30 a.m. (10 min. break)

Shinkendo: 10:40 a.m.-11:45 p.m.

Lunch: 11:45-12:45

Shinkendo: @N. Phx.Dojo: 1:15-2:30 p.m. Sword Assessment Seminar: @N. Phx Dojo.: 2:30-4 p.m.

Dinner: 5 or 5:30 p.m.

Seminar Fees

1). All regular Shinkendo sessions (5 sessions total.)--$125. prior to Apr. 15, '06. $150. after. Must be a regular student in Shinkendo.

2). All regular Aikido sessions (4 sessions total)--$100. prior to Apr. 15, '06. $125. after. Must be a regular student in Aikido.

3). All regular Shinkendo & Aikido sessions--$150. prior to Apr. 15, '06. $175. after. Must be a regular student in both Shinkendo & Aikido.

4). All Bo Staff (3 sessions)--$50. prior to Apr. 15, '06.$75. after All members are welcome regardless of level of experience!

5). Shinkendo Instructor's Training--Thursday --$50. You must be an authorized Shinkendo instructor or assistant!

6). Aikido Instructor's Training--Thursday --$50. You must be an authorized Aikido instructor or assistant!

The 4th Annual

Arizona Dragon Boat Festival, March 24-25

Dragon boating is alive in the desert! The 4th annual Arizona Dragon Boat Festival on March 24-25, 2007 at the Tempe Town Lake. There will also be a marketplace and an entertainment stage.

Members of the Mesa/Chandler Shinkendo Dojos will be demonstrating both days.
