On March 18th and 19th  the Arizona Dragon Boat Association  held the 3rd Annual Dragon Boat Festival.   Since the first year, the Mesa/Chandler Shinkendo  Dojos  have proudly been a part of the demonstrations. Below are some pictures from this year's event.

     Saturday  was a wonderful sunny day --it was not to hot , not to cold.  We had a decent-sized audience, and a great time was had by all. Sunday we arrived to find a rain-soaked park. We doubted  that we could demo., as it was still raining  on and off. After talking to the festival organizers and our still-eager students, we decided to go on with the show. The stage was far too slippery, so we performed on the grass in front of the stage to a rather small, but enthusiastic audience.
